PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery unit mainly used for various electronic equipment which is of reduced cost and can carry out steady electric contact and separation. SOLUTION: The battery unit has a through hole 12 formed on a wiring board 11 at the lower part of an electrode 6, and when a terminal 15 on the equipment side is connected to the electrode 6, a support rod 17 inserted through the through hole 12 is contacted with the lower face of the electrode 6 and, in the state the electrode 6 is held in a prescribed height, spot welding to the terminal 15 is carried out. Thereby, movement of the electrode 6 to the lower part and generation of a solder ball or the like can be prevented, and there involves no time and effort for removing this separately, enabling manufacture easily, while short circuit between the terminals of a switching element 3 and a control element 4 is prevented and steady electric contact and separation can be carried out.
