PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device which can efficiently remove air in an inkjet recording head. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device circulates fluid from a first liquid chamber 101 prepared in the inkjet recording head 100 for discharging an ink, through a first channel 135, a second liquid chamber 116 and a second channel 136 in order of the sequence. The capacity of the second liquid chamber 116 is more than the sum total of volumes of the first liquid chamber 101 and the first channel 135. A pump 330 for discharging air in the second liquid chamber 116 and an ink tank 200 in which an ink fed into the second liquid chamber 116 has been held are connected to the second liquid chamber 116. In the inkjet recording device, while the air in the second liquid chamber 116 is discharged by the pump 330, the ink is fed into the second liquid chamber 116 from the ink tank 330.
