PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow rate adjusting stop cock capable of solving problems wherein, although a conventional ball valve type stop cock adjusts flow rate while opening a ball valve by half, a ball seat is locally deformed and causes water leakage easily and, although the inside of a valve chamber of a stop cock body is partitioned into several parts, a piece valve is set, and opening of the valve is adjusted by operating a handle to adjust flow rate, the piece valve type stop cock causes great pressure loss and makes it difficult for a user to obtain the opening and closing situation of the valve element. SOLUTION: This flow rate adjusting stop cock is constituted by providing an opening part of a bypass water passage 3 communicating with a primary side or a secondary side of the valve chamber 1 of the stop cock body incorporating the ball valve element provided with a through water hole 21 and a side water hole 22 crossing it orthogonally on one side and turning the ball valve element by 90 degrees each time to join the side water hole with the bypass water passage selectively.
