PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal strip with a coating film with such a feature that a coating film can hardly strip from the metal strip. SOLUTION: This metal strip 3 with a coating film has the following structural characteristics. The coating film 5 which continuously extends in the longer direction of the metal strip 3, is formed on the surface of the metal strip 3 so that both edge parts 5A and 5B in the width direction WD which is rectangular with the longer direction LD of the coating film 5, can be positioned inside of the both edge parts 3A and 3B in the width direction of the metal strip 3. In addition, the both edge parts 5A and 5B of the coating film 5, are each constituted of an uneven edge part 29 in which a projecting part 25 jutting out in the width direction WD and a recessed part 27 denting in the width direction WD appear alternately in the longer direction. Besides, the average value of a distance between the maximum point of the projecting part 25 of the uneven edge part 29 and the minimum point of the recessed part 27, is larger than 3 μm and smaller than 100 μm. Further, the average value of a distance between the maximum points of the adjacent two projecting parts 25 and 25, is larger than 10 μm and smaller than 100 μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
