A porous cured epoxy resin, namely, a cured epoxy resin having a porous structure, which is obtained by heating a mixed fluid to form a cured product, said mixed fluid comprising an alicyclic epoxy compound having three or more epoxy groups in one molecule, a curing agent consisting of an alicyclic amine, and a solvent inert to both the alicyclic epoxy compound and the curing agent, and then removing the solvent from the cured product.
