<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notation conversion device, a notation conversion method and a program. <P>SOLUTION: The notation conversion device includes a character input section; a storage section for storing a database for notation conversion; a conversion section for notation-converting a character string input into the character input section based on the database; a notation defining section for defining notation conversion of the character string by the conversion section; and a data management section for updating data included in the database and moving the data prior to updating to an evacuation region, according to the contents of the notation conversion defined by the notation defining section.
