<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior which can obtain high photocatalyst gas decomposition activity even when a film coating is carried out by a thick film whose thickness exceeds 2 μm to suppress the deterioration of an enamel coating surface or a clear coating surface and a coating liquid for the exterior. <P>SOLUTION: The exterior has a photocatalyst layer on the surface of a base material. The photocatalyst layer is obtained by drying the coating liquid for the exterior after it is applied. The coating liquid for the exterior contains photocatalytic titanium oxide particles, zirconia particles, and curable silicone emulsion. The particle sizes of the photocatalytic titanium oxide particles and the zirconia particles are smaller than the average particle size of the curable silicone emulsion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
