<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus that achieves display effectively with a simple operation only a scene that satisfies a predetermined condition in a dynamic image. <P>SOLUTION: An indexing control part 302 extracts a face image of a character that appears in image content data 401 which is stored in an HDD109 and stores it as index information 402 into a database 109A along with time stamp information, classification information, and the like. A slide show preparing part 303 uses the index information 402 to represent a face image as a choice for each character. When a face image is selected, the slide show preparing part 303 uses the index information 402 to extract an image of a frame from which a face image having the same classification information as for the face image is extracted, and stores it as static image data 403 into the HDD 109.
