PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which content data of the input job is not deleted from a database even if a retention term of history of the input job is reached before the retention period of the content data since it subsequently becomes impossible to obtain the content data and to confirm the content on the basis of the reference information for the output job once when the content data of the input job is deleted first from a database. SOLUTION: A database stores job attribute data and content data regarding jobs executed on a complex machine and prescribed retention term set for the job attribute data and content data, determines the content data to be deletable if data serving as the basis of the content data are deleted on the complex machine (S704) and deletes the content data on expiration of its retention term (S705).
