MONITORING SYSTEM, MONITORING DEVICE, AND MONITORING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system which can be achieved using a relatively low cost and small-scale system and can perform real time processing by determining whether the operation of a monitoring object conforms to a predetermined operation by a simple logic on the basis of video with the monitoring object reflected thereon, and to provide a monitoring device and a monitoring method. SOLUTION: The monitoring system includes: a differential camera 100 for imaging a monitoring area; an area setting part 200 for setting an area of interest within the monitoring area; a locus detecting part 300 for detecting a moving locus of a moving body that moves within the monitoring area on the basis of video imaged by the differential camera 100; a residence time detecting part 400 for detecting a residence time of the moving body within the area of interest on the basis of an image imaged by the differential camera 100; and a determining part 500 for determining whether the moving body executes a predetermined operation on the basis of the moving locus and the residence time.
