PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation guide mechanism that smoothly and stably discharges a sheet-like medium without impairing maintainability, and a recording device having the same. SOLUTION: The transportation guide mechanism 61 is disposed between a discharge port 4 of a paper feed mechanism 3 openable and closable with respect to a printer body 2, and a ticket transportation path 12 that makes recording paper P discharged from the paper feed mechanism 3 pass therethrough. The transportation guide mechanism guides the recording paper P discharged from the discharge port 4 to the ticket transportation path 12. The transportation guide mechanism has a lower guide plate 63 constituting a guide path 64 making the recording paper P pass therethrough. The lower guide plate 63 is pressed by the paper feed mechanism 3 opened and closed with respect to the printer body 2 so as to be supported so as to be displaced to a position outside the movement locus of the paper feed mechanism 3.
