PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laboratory table, wherein a decorative board can be reused and the exchange cost and discarding cost are reduced because the decorative board constituting a top plate, and support parts are fixed to each other without using an adhesive, and a method for assembling the decorative board for the laboratory table, in which the decorative board for the laboratory table can easily be reused. SOLUTION: The decorative board 24 for the laboratory table is removed from a frame 26, cores 29 and a base plate 22 by releasing fastening of bolts 21, 33. A part corresponding to parts provided with female screws 28, 32 has holes 24d, 24e bored on the rear face and an opposing front surface of the decorative board 24 so that bolts 21, 33 are screwed into the female screws 28, 32. While the decorative board 24 is in a reversed state, the bolts 21, 33 inserted from the frame 26, cores 29 and a base plate 22 are screwed into the female screws 28, 32 via the holes 24d, 24e to attach the decorative board to the frame 26, cores 29 and a base plate 22.
