The lamella (1) has a profile i.e. hollow chamber profile (4), provided for receiving an illumination device (3). The illumination device is arranged within the profile. The profile comprises an area (5), which exhibits increased transparency than a surrounding area (6). The area is designed as a borehole, recess and punching-out units. The area of the profile is connected with the surrounding area in a force-fit and/or form-fit manner. The illumination device is designed as a halogen lamp, low voltage filament lamp, LED, chain of light, rope light and spot-radiated light conductor. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a profile of the lamella.
