Disclosed is a high-transmittance light-colored glass having a high Tva value (60% or more), a low Te value (60% or less), a low Pe value (6.0% or less), and a ?d value ranging from 560 to 780 nm or a ?c value ranging from -550 to -492 nm. Specifically disclosed is a high-transmittance light-colored glass which has a glass matrix composition composed of 63 to 75 mass% of SiO2, 0 to 5 mass% of Al2O3, 5 to 15 mass% of Na2O, 0 to 5 mass% of K2O, 5 to 15 mass% of CaO and 0 to 10 mass% of MgO, contains 0.3 to 3.0 mass% of Er2O3, 0.05 to 0.5 mass% of t-Fe2O3 and 1 to 30 ppm of Se as coloring components, and has a Redox value of more than 62%.
