A METHOD FOR REALIZING SAFELY UPDATING OF APPLICATION PROGRAMS IN CHIP LAYER

摘要

A method for realizing safely updating of application programs in a chip layer is provided. The chip used the method supports safety certification algorithms such as fingerprint recognition etc., a ROM (Read Only Memory) section stores a bootstrap, an OTP (One Time Programmable) section stores a fingerprint template, and a FLASH stores the user's programs and data, in which the OTP section only can be accessed by the programs of the ROM section. Therefore, a set of ID certification system for downloading the terminal application programs is established in the chip, which can eliminate the potential trouble of safety from the attack of unauthorized application programs, and improve the safety levels of terminals effectively.
