The fastening system (1) has a guide rail (2) that extends in guiding direction and has a guiding mechanism (21). An adaptor (3) is attached to a module (4) and is extendible in and out at a place between two adjacent guide sections of the guide rail. The adapter is movable in a displacement direction towards guiding direction along the guide sections. An arresting mechanism is attached to the module and is latched in the arresting position into an arresting section of the guide rail for blocking in guiding direction, and is unlatched in the displacement position correspondingly.
