A method for call proceeding in call control of an application server is provided in the present invention. The method includes the following steps: the application server transmits an Offer message to the second party after media negotiation with the first party; the application server receives an Answer message from the second party, transforms the Answer message into an Offer message, and transmits the Offer message to the first party, wherein the Offer message carries a confirmation request for the precondition status of the first party; the application server receives an Answer message from the first party, wherein the Answer message carries the first party's confirmation response for the precondition status; after judging that the Answer message satisfies the transforming condition of the Answer message, the application server transforms the Answer message into an Offer message and transmits the Offer message to the second party. An apparatus for call proceeding in call control of the application server is provided in the present invention. The present invention reduces the unnecessary signaling, avoids the media negotiation vibration, and improves the service quality. |
