<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the versatility of a power supply device with an inverter mounted thereon. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply device includes a generator 2 and a VSCF converter 3. The VSCF converter 3 includes an AC-DC conversion circuit 13 which converts an AC voltage into a DC voltage, a DC-AC conversion circuit (inverter 14) which converts the DC voltage from the AC-DC conversion circuit into an AC voltage by performing a switching operation, and a controller 18 which controls the switching operation of the inverter 14. The controller 18 is configured to be mutually switchable between pulse-width modulation control based on a comparison results of a sine wave and a cosine wave, and fixed pattern control. In the fixed pattern control, the controller 18 performs the fixed pattern control following a pattern which is defined so as to lower a switching frequency of the inverter 14 more than that at the pulse-width modulation control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
