<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical stopcock capable of improving sealability and operability by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The medical stopcock A includes: a chamber part 11 provided with a communication hole 14a or the like communicating with an upstream branch pipe 12, a downstream branch pipe 13, and a merging branch pipe 14, respectively; and a switch plug 31 installed inside the chamber part 11, provided with groove parts 33 and 34 formed between the chamber part 11 and the switch plug 31, and capable of making or not making the prescribed communication holes among the communication holes 14a or the like communicate with each other by being rotated in a prescribed direction. Then, on the peripheral edge part of the groove part 33 on the outer peripheral surface of the switching plug 31, a seal part 35 for sealing between the chamber part 11 is provided. The seal part 35 includes a projecting line projecting from the peripheral edge part of the groove part 33, thinned from the peripheral edge part of the groove part 33 to the distal end side, and urged to the side of the chamber part 11.
