<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter in which a single phase converter and a three-phase inverter with reduced dimension of a conductor are arranged to reduce a manufacturing cost and result in improved mountability on a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A U-phase circuit 2a and a V-phase circuit 2a of a single-phase converter 2 are arranged to face each other in a vehicle width direction. Three-phase inverter circuits 3a and 3b are arranged to adjoin the U-phase circuit. Three-phase inverter circuits 3c and 3d are arranged to adjoin the V-phase circuit. The single-phase converter 2 and an input side terminal 4 arranged on one side in vehicle advancing direction are connected together with an input conductor 15. A first output side terminal 13 arranged on one side in vehicle advancing direction is connected using a first output conductor 16 and a second output conductor 17 to the three-phase inverter circuit 3a adjoining the U-phase circuit and the three-phase inverter circuit 3c adjoining the V-phase circuit. The second output terminal 14 arranged on the other side in vehicle advancing direction is connected using a third output conductor 18 and a fourth output conductor 19 to the three-phase inverter circuit 3b adjoining the U-phase circuit and the three-phase inverter circuit 3d adjoining the V-phase circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
