PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem of conventional power supply control which cannot separately control power to be supplied to a memory circuit, an interface circuit or the like in a PC, while supplying power to an unused memory circuit, interface circuit or the like, resulting in wasteful power consumption. SOLUTION: The power supply controller controlling power to be supplied to a device comprising a plurality of circuits different in function, such as a CPU, includes: a power supply control register for setting start or stop of power supply for each of the circuits different in function; a power supply control module for controlling power supply to each of the circuits different in function according to settings of the power supply control register; and a power supply control part for setting start of the power supply to the power supply control register for the circuits different in function, and setting stop of the power supply to the power supply control register for the circuits different in function after the end of access.
