PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine capable of having its game shifted to a time-shortened game under prescribed conditions after the execution of a special game play to increase players' excitement and enjoyment. SOLUTION: The pinball game machine offers an optional game when an entry operation is made by a player through operation buttons during the execution of a special game play. The offered game consists of a plurality of mini-games to be chosen between right or left doors on the board. The result of each mini-game or the game as a whole is displayed in the form of a score or a level on a meter 205 which then roughly indicates only the number of the time-shortened games left by lighting up in a graduated pattern.
