PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate replacing a roller, and facilitate setting a pressure for pressing a paper sheet medium to the roller, in a device for measuring a frictional force of the roller generated between itself and the paper sheet medium. SOLUTION: A locking lever 38 for locking when a measuring roller 12 is detachably fitted for measurement and for releasing the locking when removed is provided in the roller fitting part 36 of a measuring roller installation part 34. A block comprising the measuring roller installation part 34 and a motor 40 is fitted to a slide plate 46 in a vertically slidable way, and is capable of being fixed at an arbitrary height. A pinch roller 50 for pressing the paper sheet medium to the measuring roller 12 is swingably fitted to a bracket, and an arbitrary contact pressure is acquired by pulling the bracket with a contact-pressure adjusting member 54 capable of performing movement adjustment through wires, and swinging it in the direction of the measuring roller 12.
