PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a pipe joint from a pipe while a joint cover is mounted thereon. SOLUTION: This pipe joint cap 1 to be mounted on the joint having a tube composed of an inner tube and an outer tube and a release push includes a small diameter part 2 being externally inserted into the tube, a large diameter part 3 mounted on the joint, and a connection part 4 for connecting the small diameter part and the large diameter part mutually. A claw part 5 for fixing the release push in the axial direction is formed at the inner periphery of the pipe joint cap. The joint has the release push and a chuck for energizing the release push onto an outer side in the axial direction at the inner periphery of a joint body. While the release push is pressed into an inner side in the axial direction, the chuck is opened to allow the inner tube to move in the axial direction, and while the release push is pushed out onto an outer side in the axial direction, the chuck is closed to prevent the inner tube from moving in the axial direction.
