The device has a subunit (2) connected with an output shaft of an engine, and another subunit (3) pre-mountable at a transmission-side. The subunits include components (10) with teeth profile, where the components form an axial plug connection (1a) with each other while coupling the subunits. The components are clamped against each other by a clamping element in a circumferential direction. The element is carried by one of the components, and includes even individual profiling, which intervenes in the teeth profile of the component. A support plate embraces the component carrying the element.
