A system for detecting extracranial flow anomalies in a patient, for example for the purposes of the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis comprises: - a detection source (TCCS, ECD) to detect venous hemodynamics parameters representative of extracranial venous flow in a patient and generate corresponding signals, and - a processing device (PC) to receive said signals from the detection source (TCCS, ECD), configured (100, 200, 300, 400, 500), to assign to said venous hemodynami parameters respective insufficiency scores and combine (600) the respective scores assigned to said venous hemodynami parameters and generate an overall insufficiency score indicative of a level of extracranial venous flow anomaly in the patient.
|
