<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of efficiently performing double-sided printing, and capable of restraining a curl of output paper. <P>SOLUTION: When accepting a request for the double-sided printing (S11), after printing an image of one surface of the paper P in a printing part (S12), the paper P is carried until the tip of the paper P reaches an entrance of a switchback part from the printing part (S13). When reaching the entrance, the paper P is carried in a storage part from the entrance by a reversal roller (S14). When the tip of the paper P reaches a switchback possible position in the storage part, the paper P is guided in a switchback downstream passage, and the paper P is carried again up to the printing part (S15).
