<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when heat dissipation is not sufficient, a light-emitting element decreases in luminous efficiency (decrease in luminance) to have a shorter lifetime, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device includes a light-emitting element substrate having light-emitting elements arranged on both sides thereof, a first heat dissipation plate thermally connected to the top surface of the light-emitting element substrate, and a second heat dissipation plate thermally connected to the back surface of the light-emitting element substrate.
