<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor that emits a light whose emission spectrum has a peak wavelength closer to the wavelength where luminosity becomes maximum. <P>SOLUTION: The phosphor is represented by formula: (M<SP>2</SP><SB>x</SB>, M<SP>3</SP><SB>y</SB>, M<SP>4</SP><SB>z</SB>)<SB>m</SB>M<SP>1</SP>O<SB>3</SB>X<SB>(2/n)</SB>(wherein M<SP>1</SP>is at least one element including at least Si selected from the group consisting of Si, Ge, Ti, Zr and Sn; M<SP>2</SP>is at least one element including at least Ca selected from the group consisting of Ca, Mg, Ba and Zn; M<SP>3</SP>is at least one element including at least Sr selected from the group consisting of Sr, Mg, Ba and Zn; X is at least one halogen element; M<SP>4</SP>is at least one element including at least Eu<SP>2+</SP>selected from the group consisting of rare earth elements and Mn; 6/6≤m≤8/6; 5≤n≤7; and x, y and z are each a number satisfying equations, x+y+z=1, 0<x<1, 0<y<1 and 0.01≤z≤0.3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
