<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for enabling a user to easily select whether to start an application program in such a state that personal information associated with a fingerprint detected by a touch panel is designated as information to be used, or whether to start the application program in such a state that the personal information is not designated as the information to be used. <P>SOLUTION: When a first operation to an icon is detected by a touch panel 50 capable of detecting the fingerprint, a control part 52 starts the application program in such a state that personal information associated with the fingerprint of the finger which has performed the first operation detected by the touch panel 50 is designated as the information to be used.
