PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the surface pattern of cosmetic not disappear to the last even in use while securing strength of patterned cosmetic. SOLUTION: The surface of a first cosmetic 3 preliminarily compacted in a cosmetic pan 2 is partially removed to the depth reaching the inner bottom 2a of the cosmetic pan 2 to form packing spaces A in response to a pattern to be formed in the first cosmetic 3. Then, a second cosmetic 4 different in color from the first cosmetic 3 is packed in the packing spaces A formed in the first cosmetic 3.
