PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is compatible with the single use for replacing only the absorbent article and with the auxiliary use for supplementing the absorption capability of an outer absorbent article such as diapers, and to form an opening at an appropriate position and in an appropriate region by quickly moving body fluids to the outer absorbent article to prevent the displacement between them when the absorbent article is in the auxiliary use. SOLUTION: A urine collecting pad 1 has an absorbent element 6 interposed between a liquid permeable top sheet 3 and a liquid permeable back sheet 2 and a liquid impermeable waterproof sheet 7 covering an outer side of the back sheet 2 via an adhesive 12, wherein the waterproof sheet 7 is peelable from the adhesive 12 and is provided with cutting guiding lines 11 to form the opening 10 by removing a part of the waterproof sheet 7, and the adhesive 12 is formed to have a prescribed width to cross at least the cutting guide lines 11.
