<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner in which break of a rotary deflector and dropping of a rotary shaft from a bearing during transportation are prevented, and contact with a pressing member of the deflector during driving the rotary deflector is prevented; and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The pressing member 130 of the deflector made of an elastic material is inserted into an internal space of a guide member 101, the lower face of the pressing member 130 of deflector is made to abut on the rotary shaft 152 of the rotary deflector 50, and a deflector cover 105 is mounted on a housing cover 107. When the optical scanner is used, the deflector cover 105 is removed from the housing cover 107 and the pressing member 130 of deflector is removed from the guide member 101. Then the deflector cover 105 is mounted again on the housing cover 107, and the optical scanner 4 from which the pressing member 130 of deflector is removed is built in the body of the image forming apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
