摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency variable antenna which is less influenced in its frequency switching by capacitance value variations of an element used for the frequency switching and is reduced in inductor loss due to the element, in comparison with a case that, for example, a varicap diode is used as the element for frequency switching. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna device includes: a first inductor 3 connected to an antenna; a second inductor 4 serially connected to the first inductor 3; a first switching element (PIN diode) 5a connected in parallel to the first inductor 3 and selectively turned ON/OFF; and a second switching element (PIN diode) 5b connected in parallel to the second inductor 4 and selectively turned ON/OFF.
