PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing apparatus for efficiently cooling a solid-state image sensor. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: an image sensor for converting a subject optical image into an electric image signal; an electric circuit substrate, on whose part a hole with an electric circuit for driving the image sensor is formed, is provided; and an air blower for blowing air from one side of the electric circuit substrate through the hole into the other side.
