PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armrest apparatus capable of adjusting the height of an armrest body at an optional optimum position. SOLUTION: A round tubular stay 14 is mounted downwardly on a lower side of an armrest body 13 with an elbow of a worker being rested thereon, and the stay 14 is slidably held at the predetermined position by a stay receiving body 17 having a cylindrical member 16 mounted on a console 11 via a mounting plate 15. The stay receiving body 17 has a slit range part in which a slit 18 is formed below an upper end opening edge of the cylindrical member 16, and a clamp 21 which is expandable by the lever operation is attached to an outer peripheral surface of the slit range part of the stay receiving body 17.
