Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for performing a transaction by means of an NFC device (110), said method including steps comprising: supporting the NFC device in a first supporting site, wherein the NFC device is rigidly connected to a portable device (HDV) and wherein the metal of a metal foil extending under the antenna coil of the NFC device prevents or, at the very least, disrupts inductive coupling with an outer NFC device; then moving the NFC device to a second supporting site, wherein the NFC device is still rigidly connected to the portable device but wherein inductive coupling can be set up or, at the very least, be less disrupted by the metal.
