<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid crystal display exhibiting improved image quality, which is manufactured small in size with improved manufacture yield and reliability by simplifying the step. <P>SOLUTION: The display includes a first substrate 10 where a pixel part includes a reflection part 11 and a light transmission part 12, a second substrate 80 disposed opposing to the first substrate 10 across a gap, and a liquid crystal layer 19 disposed between the first substrate 10 and the second substrate 80, wherein a polarizing layer 211 is formed in an area on the side of the liquid crystal layer 19 which corresponds to the light reflection part 11 of the first substrate 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
