<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit which causes a capacitor connected between input terminals of a power system to discharge. <P>SOLUTION: The circuit includes a control circuit connected to the input terminals of the power system. The control circuit is connected to detect whether an electric energy source is connected to the input terminals of the power system. The circuit also includes a switch, which is connected to the input terminals of the control circuit and the power system. The control circuit is connected so as to drive the switch in a first operation mode in which the electric energy source is connected to the input terminal of the power system, and is also connected so as to drive the switch in a second operation mode in which the electric energy source is disconnected from the input terminal of the power system. The capacitor connected between the input terminals of the power system is caused to discharge by the switch to reduce in voltage to a threshold voltage during a period shorter than a maximum period starting from the separation of the electric energy source from the input terminal of the power system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
