PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire acting force detecting device achieving both of improvement in measurement precision of tire acting force and suppression of excessive stress and deformation. SOLUTION: The tire acting force detecting device 1-1 detects tire acting force in a vehicle including a hub 3 and a tire wheel 1. The tire acting force detecting device 1-1 includes a connection part 4a for connecting the hub to the wheel in an axle direction; and a detection means detecting the amount of deformation of the connection part to detect tire acting force based on the detected amount of deformation. Further, the tire acting force detecting device 1-1 includes a support member 4g disposed in parallel with the connection part between the hub and the wheel, fixed to one of the hub and wheel sides, and opposing the other 2 in an axle direction. When the connection part is deformed in an axle direction by a load for mutually bringing the hub and the wheel closer in an axle direction by the tire acting force, a gap between the support member and the other in an axle direction decreases. When the load is small, the support member is separated from the other and the connection part supports the load.
