PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard with a gap filling plate, which fill the gap between a scaffold board laid between both horizontal members of a pair of opposed building frames for a scaffold and the vertical member-side of both the building frames for the scaffold, and which can secure a large effective area of a working floor. SOLUTION: This baseboard 6 with the gap filling plate 5 fills the gap S between the scaffold board 4b which is laid between the horizontal members 3 and 3 of the pair of opposed building frames 1 and 1 for the scaffold, and the side of vertical members 2 and 2 of both the building frames 1 and 1 for the scaffold. An attachment plate 10 of the gap closing plate 5, which comprises a closing plate body 9 for filling the gap S and the attachment plate 10 rising from one side edge of the closing plate body 9, is detachably attached to the inside surface of a baseboard body 8 which has both ends provided with locking means 20 locking to both the horizontal members 3 and 3; and the other side edge of the closing plate body 9 is placed on the scaffold board 4b.
