PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens apparatus making sophisticated techniques unnecessary since manual driving for zooming, focusing, iris driving need not be performed only by the left hand even when quick zoom driving is required and the iris is to be driven with photographer's intention in shouldering an ENG camera. SOLUTION: The lens apparatus includes: a zoom lens; the iris; a manual zoom lens operating means to manually control the zoom lens; an electric zooming means electrically operating the zoom lens and changing its output depending on an operating amount; and a switch to change to drive the zoom lens or to control the iris when operating the electric zooming means; all connected to the camera.
