The present invention relates to a protection panel for an LED lamp and a manufacturing method thereof, and more specifically, to a protection panel configuration for improving external transmittance by forming nano patterns on one side or both sides of the protection panel which protect LEDs from external factors such that most of the light emitted from the LEDs may be released to the outside, thereby improving luminance. Further, if the protection panel is used as a cover structure for the LED lamp, the nano patterns are formed on the inner side of the protection panel, and if the protection panel is positioned inside the lamp, the nano patterns are formed on the inner and outer sides of the protection panel, thereby improving obtained luminance. Thus, the invention minimizes power consumption for the LED lamps having the same brightness, improves the brightness for the lamps having the same number of LEDs, simplifies the structure of the lamps with an easy installation, and improves expandability for the limit of application, thereby enhancing product competitiveness in the LED lamp field.
