WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD

PURPOSE: A wireless communication method is provided to reduce the number of overhead and retransmission of a data frame by requesting a selective retransmission process for segments with errors. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter divides a wireless data frame into fragmented segments. The transmitter attaches cyclic-redundancy-checking(CRC) to the fragmented segments and transmits the fragmented segments to a receiver. The receiver receives the wireless data frame and confirms errors based on based on the CRC of each fragmented segments. The receiver saves the fragmented segments without errors. An acknowledge frame including information related to the fragmented segments with errors is transmitted from the receiver. The transmitter confirms the information. Based on the information, the fragmented segments with errors is located before a subsequent wireless data frame in the transmitter.
