<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change design information for an item in progress without reapplication of the item, in a workflow system. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing device includes: a storage means which stores application design information for defining a plurality of versions of applications; a change instruction accepting means which accepts a version change instruction by a user request; a limiting means which limits, in response to the change instruction, an item generated based on the application design information related to the change instruction; a verification means which verifies, in response to the change instruction, consistency between the application definition of an old version and the application definition of the new version, which are included in the application design information stored in the storage means; and a change means which changes, when consistency is verified by the verification means, item information related to the item limited by the limiting means by use of the application definition of the new version.
