AIR CLEANING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning system which has a simple system structure and which is capable of efficiently decomposing and removing a water-soluble organic compound included in air to be treated.

SOLUTION: The air cleaning system is provided with a scrubber 1 in which a predetermined filler 11 is installed within a tubular vessel 10 to be constituted so that water drops from the upper part of the filler 11 and in which a storage part 13a to store water dropped from the upper part is formed at the lower part of the filler 11 and a fine air bubble generator 30 to generate fine air bubbles is installed in the storage part, and a reactor in which a photocatalyst 22 and an ultraviolet lamp 23 are installed within a tubular vessel 21 to be constituted so that the air to be treated is introduced into the scrubber 1 to dissolve the water-soluble organic compound in water which drops within the scrubber 1, and so that the water is introduced into the reactor 2 after conducting the decomposition treatment of the water-soluble organic compound by fine air bubbles in the storage part 13a and the decomposition treatment of the water-soluble organic compound is conducted in the reactor by the photocatalyst 22 under ultraviolet ray irradiation.
