<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a glass material for press-molding which are for manufacturing a glass material for press-molding having a carbon film of a uniform film thickness by suppressing the deterioration of film thickness distribution, and can form a film having a comparatively thick film thickness in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a glass material for press-molding and the manufacturing apparatus 1 used for it, a glass material is held in a tube 3 which installs a heat treatment furnace 4 in the periphery, a hydrocarbon gas is supplied from a hydrocarbon supplying means 6 and an oxygen gas is supplied from an oxygen gas supplying means 7 under a reduced pressure, and a carbon film is formed on the surface of the glass material by thermally decomposing the supplied hydrocarbon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
