<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of displaying on an external display device only an image that an owner of the imaging apparatus considers to show. <P>SOLUTION: While an operating mode of a digital camera 100 is in an image playback mode, the digital camera 100 and a television 200 are communicably connected via a communication cable 300.
