<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform highly accurate clearance control by a heater element and a contact sensor element on a head slider, and to reduce a deterioration in sensitivity of a reading element, and a deterioration in reliability and positional accuracy of the head slider. <P>SOLUTION: A head element part on the head slider 15 has a writing element 151, the reading element 152, the heater element 153 for adjusting clearance and a contact sensor element 154 detecting contact between the head slider and a magnetic disk.
