PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an astigmatism-decreased high-quality polarizing lens by a casting process. SOLUTION: The method for producing the polarizing lens comprises the steps of: arranging a polarizing film in a cavity in a molding die; injecting a thermocurable component-including liquid lens raw material into the polarizing film-arranged cavity; heating the liquid lens raw material-injected molding die to perform a curing reaction of a thermocurable component; and withdrawing a molding obtained by the curing reaction from the molding die to obtain a polarizing film-including polarizing lens. At the step of heating the molding die, the heating is performed by such a temperature rising profile that a temperature rise rate is changed in at least two stages. The temperature rise rate is maximized within a temperature range which does not contain the temperature at which an exothermic peak due to the heat of polymerization exhibits or the temperature (reference temperature) at which the temperature rise ratio due to the heat of polymerization becomes maximum.
